October ABC
During my birthday earlier this year, in my heavily intoxicated state, I declared that “I’m still the hottest post-vomit chick ever!”.
Last Saturday, we went drinking with my friend’s high school friend who we saw while we were rowing at Burnham lake. We got really hammered and I had one of my worst hangovers the next day. It was aggravated by all the traveling we were doing. On the way to PMA, I stopped the taxi and saw my breakfast reappear beside the pine trees. When we got to PMA, a cadet told me that an upperclassman ordered him to ask for my number. So yeah, hot post-vomit chick part II. Not the best compliment out there. lol.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, the ‘B’ in my October ABC is for Baguio. I went with three friends to the summer capital for the weekend. Since it was Joa’s first time, we gave her the full Baguio experience (from a tourist’s POV) in two days and 14 taxi rides: rowing at Burnham park lake, horseback riding from the Botanical Garden to Camp John Hay, passing by The Mansion, checking out PMA, shopping at Minesview Park, buying ube and strawberry jam at Good Sheperd, walking along Session Road and shopping at an ukay-ukay. I’m still a little groggy from the trip (try commuting with pasalubong, cacti, walis, etc) but it was so worth it.
A is for my new Asus Aspire One netbook. I got one so I could finish my ward work in class and stop missing so much classes.
Finally, C is for costumes. I went to the Cosplay Mania last Oct.12. It’s been six years since Meme and I have been to an anime/fandom related event. It was still a lot of fun. My favorite, chibi Voltron, ended up winning the best costume award.
We’re also having a costume party on Friday. I won’t be saying who I will be going as here. I’ve given this url to some of my friends and I want to surprise them. I’m kinda excited. It’s been years since I’ve had an excuse to dress up. ;)
Your ABC’s is a blast! I was thinking of going to Baguio since I havent been there yet. Is it nice?
It’s great. There are a lot of places you could visit. And you could get away from the tropic temperature for a while. :)
Didn’t know you were here. How was the “Korean sight-seeing”? I kid, I kid…hahaha
cosplay ka naman sa sunod. yung anime character. i’d like to do that before i die.
@Kris same lang naman sa Manila e lol
@Ami actually may plans na talaga kami ng friends ko. We need to do it before we establish our careers. hehe
you were at cosplaymania? :P
was there too. Chii, the chibi Voltron happens to be my godchild :D
That’s so cool! :D
“I’m still the hottest post-vomit chick ever!” would be the most awesome line ever created in the history of mankind.
“…I stopped the taxi and saw my breakfast reappear beside the pine trees”
Panalo ‘to! Haha.
I’ve been to Baguio multiple times already but I should say that I still haven’t experienced “the full Baguio experience.” Well, isa na lang yung kulang sa list ko… yung rowing at Burnham park lake. Sad.
@Ade iknwryt? ;p
@Christian: actually ako rin. first time ko yun though I’ve been going to Baguio since I was a kid
lol too much drinking is bad for your health x3
share it with others jk *runs*
If only I went to Cosplay Mania last October, I think chances are that we’ll see one another. But when that happens, it would be a bit awkward. You might think I’m a stalker. LOL.
